Thanks to everyone who chimed in...it was interesting to see what people thought I'd choose and to hear all of your input.
Now, if I can just find that set some where here so I don't have to order it, that would be icing on the cake.

I know Walmart carries the Corelle brand--and has the one that you like the best. The store in HI does not have it in the store, but shipping it to the store should be free. That way you can pick it up from the Walmart and not have to pay the shipping. Thought I would let you know. We've done this with Sears and it has worked pretty well. Good luck!!
