Our song

When Eric and I got married we danced to Amazed by Lonestar.  I love that song...but I wish we'd have danced to the song You're the Inspiration by Chicago.  At one point while we were dating Eric put a post it on a cd of Chicagos greatest hits and it said to listen to track # 7.  It was this song (it's on my playlist on the side if you want to listen).  I'm not sure why we didn't dance to this song.  It's a well known song but I thought I'd post the lyrics here as an "I love you!"to Eric.  This song will always remind me of him.  FOREVER!  I know that Amazed will always be our wedding song, but to me.....
THIS IS OUR SONG:

You know our love was meant to be
The kind of love that lasts forever
And I want you here with me
From tonight until the end of time

You should know, everywhere I go
You're always on my mind, in my heart
In my soul, Baby

Chorus:
You're the meaning in my life
You're the inspiration
You bring feeling to my life
You're the inspiration
Wanna have you near me
I wanna have you hear me sayin'
No one needs you more than I need you

And I know, yes I know that it's plain to see
We're so in love when we're together
Now I know that I need you here with me
From tonight until the end of time

You should know, everywhere I go
Always on my mind, in my heart
In my soul

You're the meaning in my life
You're the inspiration
You bring feeling to my life
You're the inspiration
Wanna have you near me
I wanna have you hear me sayin'
No one needs you more than I
No one needs you more than I

Wanna have you near me
I wanna have you hear me sayin'
No one needs you more than i need you

Recipe

So I tried a new recipe last night, called Lasagna Rolls.  They were very good.
Changes I Made
-I added a few spoon fulls of Ricotta Cheese to the sauce, this turned out really well.  I even saved the left over sauce to put on some noodles later.
-I sauteed up some diced peppers, onions & mushrooms and layered them in as well.  This worked out well too.  Added some depth.
Things I'd do different Next Time
-I would over the 'rolls' more thoroughly with sauce when I put them in the oven.  The edges got a little chewy.
-I would probably also added a bit more sauteed veggies.

I will definitely be making these again.  Your get all the flavors of Lasagna is such a short time.

Squinchy ur eyes..

Jo's new face she does. I have some video that I will post when I get back from the baby shower I'm late for.

Here is her squinchy eye video. Eric loves when she does this, as you can tell.

This is a video of her dancing to the music on Eric's phone. This girl loves to shake it. She loves commercials with music and gets very upset when they're over.

Fashionista

So Rye has really come to love looking girly. She loves picking out clothes and putting together outfits. I sometimes have to help with the matching aspect of said outfits but she's getting better. She also adores getting her picture taken too, who knew right?! Hahah! Just wanted to share a few pics over the last few days.

I was walking with her in KMart the other day and Eric said that we walk exactly the same way.  It's nice to know she gets something from me.
I can't believe how grown up she is getting.  Not too grown up, thank you Lord...she still thinks boys are gross!  Eric and I are thrilled about that one!

Owies!

Poor Jo! We were at a friends house tonight and all of a sudden I heard Jo screaming from the back room. She had been walking across a pile of clothes and slipped and banged her face into a drawer. I freaked out, naturally, but tried to keep my composure. It didn't take long for her to bounce back, I on the other hand, still feel like crying. It didn't bleed too much, kind of sealed itself up and it didn't swell up as much as I thought it was going to. I am very thankful that it wasn't as bad as it could have been and that my friends were there to keep my calm.
The question is...do I keep our appointment for family pictures on Saturday? Even with her 'semi-shiner'?

Mommy's Little Helper

Joey has been loving the broom when it's out. She's getting very into house work. She runs her little play vacuum all around the house. It's very sweet. Here she is helping me sweep the kitchen floor.

The Longo Family...*snap snap*

Our new car decal. I think it's wicked bad arse! I found it on Etsy. I love that site. It's a little off center, but hey I'm not perfect.
