Captured on Film

Here are some pics over the last week since Eric left. I know they're all of Jo, but Rye's always outside playing.  I had one of her and Jo but I accidently erased it and I don't know if I can get it back.  I'm looking.  She and I will be going on a date to see Monsters vs. Aliens on Wednesday so I'll take some pictures.
Even with her bangs cut Jo likes me to put her hair up once in a while. She pulls it out in seconds but it's still cute while it lasts.

Everyone loves a Twinkie
I've let Jo try a twinkie occasionslly. She loves them frozen like me...well, that's the only way she's had them. Less messy, kind of.

Little Momma
Jo has been lugging around Rye's doll a lot lately. She loves her 'baby'. She pats babies bottom and says, "Poo Poo". It is too funny.
She gives her kisses

And hugs
She's been using this little push toy as a cart I think.  I saw her with her baby in the hippos place today, pushing her around the house

Park Play

Here are a ton of pictures that I took of Jo the other day. She loves going to the park with Daddy. Having these few days with him was great. Jo is totally smitten. I was pretty much invisible while he was home. Which I'm totally okay with. Hehe! I know they're not all 'pretty' but I added some that really show her personality.

Josie

Just some pictures I've taken of Jo over the last little bit.
Her on the computer.  I have some of Rye at this age on the computer too, I have to dig them out and scan them to compare.
Her crazy banggage.  I have since cut them but don't have any pictures.  I was trying to let them grow out but she wouldn't keep her ponytail in very long anymore.
How cute does she look when she actually has them clipped back?  SO CUTE!  She is getting so big.

Good weekend...

Well, overall I had a pretty good weekend, considering Eric isn't here.  I got a lot of cleaning done, had a movie marathon and even got a little exercise in.
I have been very unmotivated to clean since Eric left and I knew if I didn't do something that I would be totally overwhelmed right before he came home.  Because you know I want the place spotless when he comes home (even if it's only for a couple of days).  So I just went ahead and did it this weekend.
On Saturday, I worked the downstairs.  I did dishes, cleaned counters, swept and mopped the kitchen, vacuumed the living room, vacuumed out the couch and started laundry.  I also had time to watch 2 and a half Potter Movies (part one of Potterfest).  Today I vacuumed upstairs, finished laundry, changed the girls sheets, washed the couch cushion covers, did more dishes and wiped down the bathrooms (minus the tub).  I also watched the other 2 and a half potter movies.  I also vacuumed again after the girls went to bed tonight.  I love coming downstairs to a clean house in the morning.  I need to remember that more often. ;)
The girls were good this weekend.  Joey had been a bit crabby the last part of the week but she's been back to her cheerful self these past 2 days.  I got some cute pictures of her on the computer to compare with some of Rye around the same age, but I'll have to do that tomorrow since the camera battery is charging at the moment.  So 2 posts, 2 days in a row...alert the media!
The highlights of the weekend though were, of course, talking to Eric.  As much as being apart sucks, I think it really helps us make the most of the time we are together and to be happy when those times come.  I miss him so much and I can't wait to see him in a couple of weeks.  Not too much longer.
I think that's about it for now.  On the list for tomorrow is finishing laundry (I just need to put everything away), cleaning off the kitchen table and the computer area.  I'll post again then and share some pics.

A friend of mine shared this quote with me today.  I really like it.  Just thought I'd share.

My BLING!

I've been wanting to get my nails done for a long time. I just always had a reason not to. My friend Malinda asked me earlier this week if I wanted to go with her. I went with my gut and said yes. Another friend of mine had gotten what they call Boogie Night nails. Instead of a clear powder they use a glitter powder. They have several different colors to choose from. I got a darker pink and I chose to get the glitter only on the tips. I know they're a little different and I don't know if they match me...but I am loving them so far. I am having to get used to them. I feel like I'm going to make them pop off. Hehe. But it's getting easier. They're fun and I don't know how long I'll keep them, but I'll enjoy them while I do. Here they are.

What do you think?
