Evie Peevie

Thought I'd share some random AWESOME photos of Evie from the last two months....I swear I'll get better about posting more regularly.

Eve-6 months

Hard to believe that this sweet girl hasn't been with us forever. The smiles and laughter she brings to our house are priceless. She's growing too fast, just like her sisters. She is 15 pounds 9 ounces now and is 25 inches long. She's truckin' along on her growth curve at 35%. We're still dealing with her reflux and it's making solids a little harder on her. She just has very little interest in baby food. Though she loves trying to take your food. She had an ear infection I knew nothing about but is feeling better now that she's getting her antibiotics. I didn't realize she could be even happier. We're working on sleeping thru the night too. She also had 4 teeth now with more working their way out.

Rye

Getting pics of Rye is super hard. She either doesn't want her picture taken or she's out and about. She is growing up so fast and I can't believe she'll be 11 sooner rather than later. She is teaching us so much about raising a moody hormonal girl, Jo and Eve will have it much easier since we'll have worked the kinks out with Rye. Haha.

She's quite the fashionista now. She's really wanting an ipod touch for her bday and I think she'd going to get it. She loves her music and games.
She loves being a big sister (to Evie at least)
She's done really well with her retainer, only lost it once.
She got some spring pictures done for school and I think we're going to get some to distribute, since she got her braces off. We didn't get her fall pictures just for this reason.

Joey

As frustrating as this age is with Joesefine...she can be so great too. Mixed in with her attitdue, craziness and tantrums is the silliness, goofiness and hilarity that is Joey. She loves having her picture taken. She loves her sisters (even when she's pushing Rye's buttons). We have her signed up for preschool next year. Hoping it won't strap us too much financially but it will be worth it. I think she really needs to have that structure and interaction this coming year before heading into kindergarten. And the break for me, plus time alone with Evie, is an added bonus.

I think we're going to invest in a zoo pass this year. It's our last year in VA and it will be something nice we can do on overcast days this summer. We really should have gotten one a long time ago. And with how much the big kids love animals it will be a good investment.
