I had to post these pictures of Miss Josefine. She's really filling out...that's my nice way of saying she is putting on some baby chub. It is too cute and so is she.
We're all happy here, by the end of the week our Hunny/Daddy will be home. We could not be more excited. Our Can't Wait Countdown chain is getting very small. I have a lady coming to take pictures of his homecoming on Friday, so hopefully I'll be able to put some pictures up here so you all can be part of what is sure to be one of the best days of our lives. Yay!!!

Boredom

Not much going on here in the islands. Just counting down the days until we see Eric again. Hopefully we only have 10 days left. So we're just filling the days with school, cleaning, walks and hanging out. Gotta run now and get Rye from school.

Turning 30...

It isn't so bad, really. I had a nice day. I got my favorite salad from California Pizza Kitchen for lunch and I got two great presents in the mail.
The first, from my folks. I've been saying for a while that I want a picture of the mountains back home to put up in my house. I miss the Olympics and I loved looking at them while I was visiting. Some of my sisters, my Mom and I went to a craft store when I was home and we saw this sign. I loved it immediately and went to show my Mom, who was trying to show it to me at the same time. She sent it to me for my birthday. I was so surprised, which doesn't happen often. I am so glad to have it in my house. I LOVE IT! Thanks Mom and Dad!

The next is a beautiful necklace and earring set from my in laws. Erie has a booming beach glass industry. Well, I don't really know if it's booming or not, but I love it. I love how they're almost the same color as my birthstone. Thanks very much to Mom and Dad (in law).We went to our friends for dinner that night. Layla made us a fabulous dinner. The girls played, we had birthday cake (my favorite berry poke cake) and I got a gift certificate for a pedicure. Thank you Layla, for making my birthday special. The only thing missing was Eric. All in all, it was a pretty good day.
Also wanted to share this layout I did tonight. I was going to do a whole other post, but why? i need to get to bed and that would just take longer.

It's a little messy. Apparently the ink on the date stamps on the left side hadn't dried all the way when I started doing other stuff to it and my forearm smudged it around. Ah well, perfection is always just out of reach. Enjoy.

She misses him...

I went in to check in on Rye after she'd gone to sleep the other night and this is what I found.
She wasn't ready to fall right asleep when she went in for bed. I believe she propped up her Daddy Pillow and had some time with him before falling asleep. It's been like this ever since. We're so ready for him to come home.

Way back when...(for Layla)

My friend Layla has been wanting to see pics of me when I was younger to see how the girls compare. Every time she's been over I haven't been able to find my 1 measly envelope of kid pics I scanned off of pictures I stole from my Mom (don't worry, I returned them to the box, so technically I borrowed them). I found them the other day and scanned them all into the computer. So I will now post them for your viewing pleasure. I'll try and do a range up to Rye's age, maybe a little older, cuz you're not going to want to miss the poofy fro I had. There are alot of me with Beth & Dani. As the three little ones we were always together, and thus lots of pictures of us.

























So, there ya go. Draw your own conclusions. I think Jo looks a little more like me than I thought, but she's still got a whole lotta Eric.
Oh yeah, I've got some video I need to upload, so check back in a few days to see if I've got it up. I'm too tired now, I wanna go to bed.

I know the girls get their chubby cheeks from me. I see so much of Eric in them everyday, it's nice to see a little something of me. Okay, maybe all babies have cheeks and mine might not look as....prominent as the girls but I was a couple years old in this pic....
