New Release Tuesday

So, I thought as a new add on to the blog I'd do a New Release Tuesday. I love renting the new movies that come out on Tuesdays as I don't make it to the theater as much as I used to. so every Tuesday that I get a new release (or several :)) I'll post about them on here. Today I watched Bride Wars. It's about two best friends who become rivals when the weddings they've been dreaming and planning together since they were little get miss-scheduled on the same day. They learn much about each other and themselves during this rough patch in their friendship. Both Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway were great in this movie.
I loved it. It made me laugh and cry...and I'd throw in a "oh no, she didn't" every once in a while. It is a great chick flick and I'm so glad that I got it. It is definitely a movie I could watch again.

Under Construction

So, this week my blog will be going through many renovations. I am taking an online course called Bling Your Blog. Today was alot about the basics and I am looking forward to the rest of the classes and all I can learn. During the week I will be changing and adding things until it's just perfect and totally blinged out. I'm excited to see the final product at the end of my class and I hope you are too. ;)
Driving home from the NEX one afternoon we got stuck in traffic from an accident. It took us an hour and a half to make a trip that normally takes us 20 minutes. The girls did really well sitting for that long. I wish I would have gotten some video of Jo. She was hilarious.
Rye with her new Deco Pet. Decorating it while we were stuck staved off the complaining. Not completely but for long enough.
Jo kept putting the Little Pets in her mouth like a binky. Laughing and talking while they were in there. She kept us laughing.
I took one of me and Eric but I cropped me out cuz I looked like crap. Haha!
Took a few pictures of us before heading to dinner at PF Changs this weekend. It was a great meal. We went to Cold Stone Creamery afterwards. It was a really nice family night.

Our family. I love us. ;)

Aftermath & Cuteness

So these first pics are the aftermath of Jo pulling her pigtails out that she had in the last post. There are a few other cute shots I added in. Just because she is so adorable.
This is her toward the end of the pics, she gets tired of having her picture taken so quickly.
Seriously Mom?  More pictures?
Hiding behind her doggy.  I absotively posalutely LOVE this picture.  Even with her crazy hair.
Being all angelic like
Hahahaha, that's all I can say.
Eric and the girls the morning he got home.  Rye has her EGA earring on that Daddy brought her.  He brought Jo a pink doggy that is soft and barks, her name is Punky, as in Brewster.  She carries her everywhere.

PigTails, For Mary

Mary, Since I know how much you loved Jo in her one ponytail up top...I couldn't help but think how you'd love her even more with 2. So these are just for you. Though, everyone else will certainly benefit from gazing upon my too cute daughter. ;)

She was sick of them by this point.  Hehe.  The next post it her post pigtails, with her hair ALL CRAZY!

Do you see a resemblance??

So, my Mother-in-law sent me these pictures of her from when she was Joey's age. Can you see the resemblance or what? Seeing as Eric looks so much like Emily and Jo looks so much like Eric...it only stands to reason that she'd look like Emily. It's fun seeing this kind of stuff though. Knowing where certain things come from. Like her laugh is all me. It's nice to know I'm in there somewhere.

Turn Your Head Sideways

and watch this sweet video. I had a great video of Jo bugging Rye across the living room on my phone but I haven't been able to get it on here. I tried to email it to who ever I could. This one is similar. Jo is standing at our garage door, where Rye is playing, calling to her. You can't hear Ryelie but she replies mostly with whats, I'm ignoring yous and leave me alones. It went on for a bit before I got the camera. Jo loves her big sister so much.

I know it's a little dark, sorry about that.

Sweet Tooth

My Jo has quite a sweet tooth. She comes by it naturally. She really digs these chocolate eggs that Grandma sent from Pennsylvania. They're the perfect size for her. On Easter morning I found her trying to eat one, through the foil covering. It looked like she's tried to rip it off but just decided it was too hard half way through. Here are a few pictures of her eating one today. She looked to cute with it shoved in her cheek like a little squirrel. The first picture is the result of asking her what she was eating.

side note: You all know my laugh.  The one that almost sounds donkey-esqe.  Jo does the same thing.  I love that there's something of me in there.  I'm going to try and get it on video or maybe save it to my phone and use it as a ring tone.  Haha.

Shhh....

we're hunting easter eggs....hehehehehe *think Elmer Fudd*

Our neighbor, Lisa, put together an Egg hunt for those of us that share back yards/playgrounds.  It was so nice of her.  The girls had a really good time and we all got a little color that day.

This is what happens....

when you turn your back for a second, at the park, to answer your older child's question.I felt like such a bad Mommy when she fell down the 'rock steps' (the ones she's climbed up tons of times with no problems, I might add.  But all those times I was standing right there.).  She had the nasty rubber floor stuff in her mouth and everything.  She was fine 5 seconds later.  I, on the other hand, will be feeling guilty at least until it heals up and goes away.

Super Park

I've been taking Jo to this big park on base in the mornings. It's nice for her to get some fresh air and it helps stave off the boredom. Just thought I'd share a few pics from our recent trip there.
Getting ready to go. Grabbing a quick bite to munch on the way. She had to wear Rye's hat out. She put it on herself. She loves it.

She loves trying to open the door herself.  Check out that look of concentration in the reflection.  She even shoved a waffle in her mouth to free up her hand.

No hat while at the park, that's strictly for traveling.  It's all about the accessories baby.

She loves the slides and sticking out her tongue.  She's always doing this.  It cracks me up.
Playing 'I see you' with me.
Making a little music while sipping on some milk.  That's what Opree calls multi-tasking.
Dancing her way over to the swings.  She loves these too.  Though after the first day she tends to get in then wants right out.
She found this bridge at the end.  Scares the bugeezus out of me.

She's so smart she already knows how to use an abacus.
There they are.  Not much else going on here.  Just counting down the days until Eric comes home.

Ra Ra Sisboomba

Rye took the streamers off her bike and Jo likes to pretend they're pom poms. You can see she doesn't like the camera in her face for very long.
